A vivid dream flooded my mind during the Christmas break of 2007.

I was walking down the platform of a beautiful old abandoned train
station, greeted by an equally beautiful young woman. She pointed at
the train on the platform and simply said “catch the train and go and
see what’s out there…”

I wanted to stay with her on the platform, but she insisted I must go
and take this journey on my own. I found myself, as one does in dreams
– fast forwarding – with no real compass – to an incredible scene in this
story – where I was greeted by myself as a very young boy.

He held my hand and led me onto the train.

As I boarded, he got off.
